Wenger Watches – 3-Year Global Warranty
Your Wenger watch is guaranteed by Victorinox for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase, subject to the terms of this warranty. The international Victorinox Warranty covers all defects in workmanship and materials existing at the time of delivery of this Wenger watch. The warranty is applicable only if the warranty certificate is duly signed and completed with the date of purchase, the watch reference, name and address (or stamp) of an authorized Victorinox dealer and/or Wenger official agent in the relevant country. During the warranty period and after presentation of a valid warranty certificate, you are entitled to free repairs of any defects. Should your Wenger watch be irreparable, that is to say, if the repair cannot restore its normal functionalities, Victorinox will replace it with a Wenger watch with the same or similar features. The warranty for watch replacement expires 3 years after the date of receipt of the replaced watch. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:
• the life of the battery;
• any damage affecting any part of the watch due to abnormal/abusive use (impacts, scratching, crushing, etc.), normal wear, neglect, accidents, obsolescence, lack of servicing, incorrect use of the watch and non-compliance with instructions contained in the manual supplied by Victorinox;
• indirect damages of any kind resulting, for example, from the use, non-functioning, defects or inaccuracy of your watch Wenger;
• the Wenger watch handled by unauthorized persons (for example for a service, repair or battery replacement), or whose initial state has been modified without the express permission of Victorinox;
• shipping costs to an authorized service center.
Any other claims against Victorinox (for example, for damages that do not fall under the above warranty) are expressly excluded, except for mandatory statutory claims that the purchaser may make against the manufacturer.
The aforementioned manufacturer’s warranty:
• is independent of any warranty possibly offered in addition by the seller, who assumes full responsibility thereof;
• does not affect the rights of the buyer against the seller nor any other mandatory statutory claims the purchaser may make against the seller.
If your Wenger watch has a problem, send it by mail to the Wenger after-sales service center in your country in appropriate packaging (without the presentation box), accompanied by the original warranty certificate and a brief description of the problem. Authorized Wenger dealers and after-sales service centers are at your disposal to service or repair your watch, even after the expiry of the warranty period, and at a reasonable price.
